HSE Hosts Annual MLH Hackathon

In late October, students from the HSE School of Business Informatics organised the second Major League Hacking (MLH) hackathon hosted in Moscow. The participants of the event, which include students and alumni of Russian and foreign universities, developed IT solutions for Russian companies.

For a number of years the School of business informatics participates in the autumn activities of the Danube-Adria Association for Automation and Manufacturing which are held under umbrella of annual DAAAM Week event on the basis of the oldest European higher education institutions such as Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien), Austria, and the University of Zadar, Croatia.

A new program has been launched at the School of Business Informatics this year:  a bachelor’s parallel degree programme in Management and Digital Innovation. On April 24th, delegation of 30 students and lecturers from Business School of the University of Applied Sciences in Rotterdam visited School of Business Informatics of the National Research University Higher School of Economics as a result of cooperation on the Erasmus + European programme.

HSE and University of London Create a New Bachelor’s Parallel Degree Programme in Management and Digital Innovation

The first intake into the English-taught programme will be in 2018. The programme director, Sergey Efremov, gives us an insight into what students will be studying and where they can find work – not only in IT companies, but also in banks, industry and retail.
