Sergey Kim, a student of the School of Business Informatics (HSE), wins the first place in the Programming Competition at the Russian Engineering Festival — Enginfest
The team members Sergey Kim, a student of School of Business Informatics (HSE), and Nikolay Polyansky, a student of Moscow Technological University (MIREA), have successfully demonstrated their programming skills and business proficiency. The team has developed a concept of a business interview simulator and presented an application prototype. The guys only had one night to realize their project! The magnificent project realization has brought the young enterprisers to the 1st place and also has become an unforgettable experience for them, which they will certainly use in their future career.
The School was organized as a part of the Russian Enginfest that was hosted by Southern Federal University. The festival was held from September, 9 to September, 11, 2016. Next year, National University of Science and Technology “MISIS” will be the organizer of the event. Besides the Internet-Entrepreneurship School there were plenty of other activities: “Game Tactics Programming”, “Hackathon CyberGarden”, “Robotics Competitions” etc.
“From the very beginning we were extremely surprised by the kindness and appreciation of the Taganrog people”, — Sergey shares his impressions about the festival. — “The organizers worked really well. Everything was greatly planned, I even had time for an extensive sightseeing tour. The organizers of the festival invited the best lecturers, who held some really informative and useful lectures. As a result, there were several ideas that had been sent to the competition. Only ten of them have passed, including mine. I would like to thank the organizers, who made the event bright and useful and provided us with an opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people.”
